PSMLA is pleased to partner with the Association of World Language Educators (AWLE) for a workshop titled “Connecting the Standards: Approaching Communities, Cultures, and Communication through Everyday Activities” facilitated by Megan Flinchbaugh and Nathan Campbell, language teachers at Manheim Central High School. Educators will go home with strategies for engaging students, families, schools, and communities to promote the continued study of languages. Participants will receive ready-to-use tools that connect the target language and cultures to all stakeholders. The workshop will provide ample time to collaborate with peers, plan lessons, and create new materials. In the afternoon, the group will be transported for a tour of the Capitol Building and an opportunity to interact with state officials.
