The mission of the Pennsylvania State Modern Language Association is to enhance foreign language education throughout the state
      by promoting the study of foreign languages,
      by providing educators opportunities for professional growth and networking, 
     by recognizing excellence in the field, and 
      by collaborating with local, state and national organizations.

 

Stipends to Attend NECTFL

and Focus on Oral Proficiency

In support of and cooperation with ACTFL and NECTFL, PSMLA will award to two PSMLA members registrations for

  • ·the Northeast Conference  (in Baltimore from April 20 to 23, 2012 - normally $200 for early registration)and
  • ·a workshop registration for an Oral Proficiency Interview familiarization full-day workshop. (Friday, April 20, 2012, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. – normally $140 per person).

The total value of this stipend will be $340 per person!
