FLAP is Dangerously Close to Elimination!
JNCL-NCLIS has received word from staff members on Capitol Hill that it is critical that members of the foreign language community show their support for FLAP.
Please write your Senators and Representative informing them of language programs in your state and school district. In addition to your letters, please encourage students and parents to write. The more support that FLAP receives, the more likely it is to survive the Appropriations chopping block.

or have "limited effect".
