2009 Pre-Conference: Oral Proficiency Assessment

The PSMLA/MU pre-conference will be held on Thursday, 15 October 2009. The focus of the workshop is oral proficiency assessment. Dr. Margaret Malone from the Center for Applied Linguistics in Washington, DC will lead us in a discussion of ACTFL guidelines. Participants will rate samples and develop tasks to assess oral proficiency skills. Act 48 credit will be awarded for participation in the pre-conference.
