 Creative Bridges for Language Learning is offering a unique hands-on/theory immersion program; fun-filled with unlimited exposure to language and culture, on a variety of topics of interest that embrace every one of the aspects related to the Argentinean / Latino / Spanish culture  such as: Literature, Art, History, Music, Dance, Theater, and Films; beneficial to Spanish Educators at every level.

 

It is designed to enhance teaching practices.  Participants will learn innovative teaching strategies and how to create dynamic lessons that incorporate authentic culture into daily instruction based on their experiences. We will create DVDs with those incredible experiences  

 Participant will have plenty of opportunities to enjoy one of the most beautiful cities in the world!

Creative Ideas for Language Learning:

This hands on activity based/multimedia presentation will outline and model a wide range of lesson planning ideas. It is based on the fact that the performing arts are wonderful instruments for language instruction since they incorporate different learning styles and intelligence types When students have multiple choices in ways to demonstrate their knowledge, the evidence of their learning is more accurate therefore, they became lifelong learners.

Let's Dance our Story or Spanish is Alive!!!

This Presentation will give teachers the opportunity to explore, appreciate and learn a different approach to teach a language that students will never forget. This program has been carefully crafted to enrich every school curriculum. Liliana creates her innovative and interactive workshop by combining storytelling, dance, drama and music in a very unique manner. She uses her good sense of humor, creativity and liveliness to transport teachers in an innovative educational journey.

TOTAL Immersion Program

This hands-on/theory workshop aimed at improving teacher practice, in which participant will develop skills to incorporate a variety of language concepts into topics that are useful, interesting, fun, worthy of study, and that gives students a reason to use the language. The program will help the participants define the best possible practices of teaching and thinking in language instruction, providing eight different potential pathways to learning; engaging the whole person in verbal and nonverbal multi-sensory ways of self-expression and communication.

Creative thematic Units 

This session is designed to familiarize participants with examples of creative thematic curricula that will allow them to incorporate a variety of language concepts into topics that are useful, interesting, fun, worthy of study, and that gives students a reason to use the language. The presenters will give a rationale for organizing instruction thematically.

Whole class, whole drama

This hand on activity based presentation will outline and model a wide range of lesson planning ideas.  It is based on the fact that the drama is a wonderful instrument for language instruction since they incorporate different learning styles and intelligence types. By using these elements the class teacher of a second language can help students to find expression for their thoughts, opinions, reflections and perceptions. Is not just reenactment of what is known the students make decisions that influence the direction of the drama and they are given ownership, with the ideas being used to develop the drama.

We offer stimulating seminars in a Spanish-speaking environment for Spanish educators , on a variety of topics of interest to teachers who want to bring the culture of Latin America into their classrooms and improve their Spanish for use with their students and their families. TSIP includes courses that embrace every one of the aspects related to Latin American cultures, such as: Literature, Art, History, Music,  Dance, Theater, Films, etc.

Liliana Attar will carry your students into a magical and unforgettable world of arts, culture and enjoyment! Liliana creates her wonderful and interactive performances by combining storytelling, dance, drama and music in a very unique manner. She uses her good sense of humor, creativity and liveliness to transport students and teachers in a cultural journey. These programs have been carefully crafted to enrich every school curriculum. Each program gives students and teachers the opportunity to explore the methodology, appreciate, and acknowledge the language, arts and culture of Latin America .

For k-6 grade, the program is 45 minute long, typical audience is 250-300.

One performance: $500.00- Back to Back: $900:00

  • Single: $400.00 – 5 days residences: $1,800.00
